The brown pelican has been on the endangered list for 40 years- and it has just come off it.

Thanks to the efforts of many-the US Government, conservation groups and dedicated individuals there is now a very healthy number of thses beautiful birds.
They will still be monitored by the groups in the future. Well done to all those people who cared enough to do something about the declining number of
brown pelicans.
