Friday 23 March was our first Enviro Action Day of the year. We kicked off with an assembly where guest speaker Rowena wowed us with some Plastic Fantasic not information. Then we went off and gardened, planted daffodils, made and ate fruit kebabs, visited Te Paparahi Piwakaka, discussed our enviro jobs and made amazing signs for our environment using bottle tops.
Last cuddles with Unicorn the rooster. He is off to live on a farm with the Cudbys.
The feijoas on our school trees are growing well. Some feijoas fruit has fallen to the ground- so those fruit can be now be eaten. Once they fall to the ground, you know they are ripe.
